Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 7 am–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Brooklyn follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This spot is just so splendid. Backyard is great. They have “for here” cups. Vibes are unmatched. Latte was super ok but I don’t even mind, this place is about the atmosphere. They also have wines / cocktails :) friendliest staff too!

🐾 Coffee fills the cup. Kindness fills the café. ☕️ Around here, they brew kindness right alongside the coffee. I’ve trotted in more than a dozen times at all hours of the day and that’s exactly why I keep dragging my human back. Every visit, the team greets us with genuine warmth and makes me feel just as welcome as my human. That’s five-star pup hospitality if you ask me. The huge shaded backyard is one of my favorite places to lounge after a walk, there are plenty of tables out front for prime neighborhood sniffing and the blasting AC inside is the ultimate summer treat. My human never skips the iced praline latte, the pastries are always a hit and they even have gluten-free options. They also host different evening events—we happened to see a pet psychic night which definitely earned an extra tail wag. Whether your human is working remotely, meeting friends or simply looking for a cozy place to unwind, this café always gets it right. Some cafés serve great coffee. The best ones serve kindness too. That’s why you’ll keep finding my paws at Saturn Road. 🐾☕

I have passed by Saturn Road countless times, always assuming it was just a narrow, cozy coffee shop. Boy, was I mistaken! Stepping inside reveals a sprawling, beautiful garden that feels like a total secret oasis. It is remarkably large yet maintains an intimate, cozy energy. The menu is excellent, featuring a wide variety of coffee—my iced latte was the perfect pick-me-up. I also highly recommend the croissants; the almond croissant, in particular, was absolutely delicious. While they also offer a selection of carrot cake, wine, and beer, I couldn't resist a cold beverage to celebrate the first truly hot day of spring. The vibe here is hard to beat—it’s wonderfully chill, yet filled with the aliveness of rustling trees, birds chirping, and the gentle chatter of fellow Brooklynites. It’s the perfect place to sit back and soak up the neighborhood atmosphere. If you’ve been walking past this spot just like I did, do yourself a favor and head into the garden. You won't regret it!

Cute Coffee shop that also serves Cocktails. I thought I would come in and get a regular Cocktail. I ordered a Maple Old Fashioned, it wasn't Whiskey based. It was made with Sake and Maya Blanco, spicy Maple Syrup and Bitters. I was pleasantly surprised, it was delicious. The prices are reasonable. It's a good place to go to study or work. The front is narrow but there's a small backroom with couches. The backyard is spacious. They also have events. It is dog friendly. It's a good place to have in the neighborhood.
